Spacious room with a poor soundproofing experience from outside noise.

Solo traveler enjoying comfort
The location worked perfectly for my arrival by train. Just a quick stroll from the station. Plus, I had this massive king-sized bed that felt like I was laying on clouds, the most comfortable sleep I’ve had in while.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but given the comfort, I think it was reasonable.

The details you care about most
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The room was immaculate with an incredibly comfortable bed that guaranteed a good night’s sleep. It’s situated perfectly for exploring the city, with easy access to transport. A minor concern was the narrow bathtub, but it didn't overshadow my positive stay. I’ll be back!

I really enjoyed my time here, especially the super comfy bed and the delicious breakfast each morning. The spa and outdoor lounge were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. My only slight hiccup was that my room had features for limited mobility, which I didn’t need and was a bit far from the lifts. 😊

missingWrote a review on Aug 25great locationcomfortable roomsolid showernarrow bathtublimited breakfastinconsistent wi-fi
The location of The Clyde is perfect for walking to the city center. Tons of tourist shopping nearby. I loved the easy access to hop-on bus tour stops and the airport shuttle bus. The king room felt comfortable with a nice setup. The bed provided a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a solid shower with good water pressure. the bathtub felt narrow, and it could use an exhaust fan. I was disappointed to find that the breakfast options didn’t cater to lighter diets. The dining area seemed limited after the first day. A little more variety wouldn’t hurt. Wi-Fi was inconsistent, which was frustrating at times too. All in all, I would definitely consider returning, but with some minor adjustments, my experience would greatly improve.

Exceptional location, Generous luggage storage options, Incredible shower experience
The noise from the fire door slamming all night was unbearable!!! Suggestions for improvement include more soundproofing and a better maintenance check on the rooms. It felt grubby and not worth the high price paid!!!

Affordable stay with helpful staff
I stayed for a week in a twin room. It was super affordable and just what I needed for a nice place to crash. The cleaning crew was great—always fresh towels and linens. The front desk guy tried to get me in early, which was cool, but I wish he helped with my heavy bags. At least another staffer stepped in! Dining options were surprisingly decent too.

missingWrote a review on Jun 22spacious roomrefreshing showerunpleasant odors
The layout felt spacious, giving me room to breathe after a long day. The shower was surprisingly lively, allowing for a refreshing experience after a grueling schedule.
Rooms carried a distinct funky smell, likely stemming from dampness, which dampened the experience right from the start. The noise from the fire door slamming echoed throughout the night, making it challenging to get decent rest. Heating issues turned the nights into a bit of a chill, creating a less-than-cozy atmosphere while sleeping. the lack of food service limited options for late-night hunger, and the absence of a fridge made keeping any snacks a hassle.

The bed was super comfy and I really liked how clean everything was, especially the bathroom. The room felt a bit dated, but it was fine for a short stay. Water pressure in the shower was impressive, loved that! just a cozy spot for the night.
